Signature update क्यों जरूरी है?
यदि account holder के हस्ताक्षर बदल गए हैं या passbook/withdrawal form पर signature mismatch हो रहा है, तो account-maintaining Post Office में specimen signature update की प्रक्रिया पूछें। यह update identity verification और account security के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है।
- Original passbook और account number साथ रखें।
- Valid identity/KYC documents तैयार रखें।
- Branch से prescribed application और in-person verification requirements पूछें।
- Joint account में अन्य holders की consent/signature requirements confirm करें।
- Update acknowledgement लें और आगे transaction करते समय सही signature का उपयोग करें।
