Tracking number उपयोगी है, लेकिन इसे सार्वजनिक रूप से साझा करने से parcel से जुड़ी जानकारी दूसरों तक पहुँच सकती है। कुछ सरल सावधानियाँ रखें।
1. Tracking number कहाँ साझा करें?
इसे recipient, seller या जरूरत पड़ने पर संबंधित Post Office के साथ ही साझा करें। Public social media post, खुले comment या अनजान group में पूरा नंबर और address एक साथ न डालें।
2. Fake SMS और links पहचानें
- अनजान link पर click करने से पहले sender और domain जाँचें।
- “आज ही छोटी fee भरें वरना parcel रोक दिया जाएगा” जैसे दबाव वाले संदेश पर सावधान रहें।
- OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN या banking password किसी को न दें।
- Unknown app या remote-access application install न करें।
- Tracking status खुद official website खोलकर जाँचें, SMS link पर निर्भर न रहें।
3. Screenshot साझा करना हो तो
पहले नाम, पूरा पता, mobile number, barcode और अन्य निजी विवरण छिपाएँ। शिकायत के लिए official channel पर ही जरूरी प्रमाण दें।
4. Tracking सही जगह करें
Browser में स्वयं India Post official website खोलें और Track Consignment विकल्प चुनें। किसी third-party page पर banking credentials या payment details न डालें।
5. संदिग्ध message मिल जाए तो
