Customs duty का payment SMS मिला?
International parcel पर customs-related update संभव है, लेकिन SMS में आए किसी भी payment link को genuine न मानें। पहले independently official channel से shipment और demand verify करें।
Suspicious message के संकेत
- बहुत कम समय में payment करने का दबाव।
- Unknown website, shortened URL या personal payment QR/UPI ID।
- OTP, card PIN, UPI PIN या banking password की माँग।
- Tracking number या parcel details का मेल न होना।
- Message में spelling mistakes या अनजान sender details।
Safe verification steps
- SMS link पर click न करें।
- India Post की official website खुद browser में खोलें और consignment number से tracking देखें।
- यदि customs event या document request दिखे, तो official India Post support या संबंधित delivery office से प्रक्रिया पूछें।
- किसी शुल्क की मांग हो तो उसका official basis, amount, payment method और receipt confirmation पहले verify करें।
- Sender से invoice, declaration और shipment details का मिलान करें।
Confidential details सुरक्षित रखें
किसी parcel SMS के जवाब में OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN या net-banking password न दें। Official verification के लिए unknown caller को remote access भी न दें।
अगर payment कर दिया हो
Payment reference, message, sender number और transaction time सुरक्षित रखें। तुरंत अपने bank/payment provider के official fraud-support channel से संपर्क करें और जरूरत पड़ने पर national cybercrime reporting channel पर report करें।
