1. Gross weight मापें
सामान, inner packing, cushioning और outer box सहित पूरे parcel को scale पर तौलें। घर का scale केवल अनुमान देता है; अंतिम स्वीकार्य वजन और शुल्क booking counter पर confirm करें।
2. Dimensions कैसे लें?
- लंबाई: सबसे लंबी side।
- चौड़ाई: दूसरी side।
- ऊँचाई: तीसरी side।
- Box के उभरे हिस्सों सहित बाहरी dimensions लें।
3. Official limits जाँचें
India Post Parcel Retail के लिए प्रकाशित domestic product details में अधिकतम लंबाई 1.5 metre, length + girth कुल 3 metre और gross weight 35 kg तक बताया गया है; service/product eligibility और volumetric weight जैसी शर्तें लागू हो सकती हैं। Booking से पहले current official page पढ़ें: India Post Parcel Retail।
4. Charges का अनुमान
वजन, dimensions, destination, चुनी गई service और अतिरिक्त विकल्प शुल्क बदल सकते हैं। किसी पुराने rate chart को current न मानें। Official tariff/calculator या counter से final amount लें।
5. Packing के बाद फिर मापें
अंतिम tape और label लगाने के बाद parcel दोबारा तौलें। यदि पैकिंग बदलती है तो वजन और size भी बदल सकते हैं।
