Postal services checklist
When sending important papers, keep a clear record of the booking and ask the counter staff which delivery confirmation options apply to the service available for your destination.
At the booking counter
- Confirm that the item is accepted for the selected registered mail service
- Ask whether an acknowledgement or proof-of-delivery option is available
- Verify the recipient address and PIN code
- Check the current charges before payment
Keep these records
Retain the booking receipt, tracking or article number, a copy of the documents and any acknowledgement slip issued.
