Sports equipment can vary greatly in shape, weight and fragility. Before booking, confirm that the item is accepted by the service and destination you plan to use.
Prepare the parcel
- Clean and dry the equipment before packing
- Protect sharp edges and delicate parts
- Use a sturdy outer carton or suitable protective packaging
- Prevent the contents from shifting inside the package
- Write complete sender and recipient addresses with PIN codes
Ask before booking
Confirm the permitted dimensions, weight, packing standards and charges at the post office. Oversized or unusual items may have special acceptance conditions.
Keep records
Retain the booking receipt and tracking number. Do not assume that all sports equipment is accepted by every postal product.
