Customs hold और return status का मतलब
International mail पर destination country की customs authority और local postal operator की जाँच लागू हो सकती है। Tracking में customs hold, awaiting documents या return जैसे status दिखें तो पहले पूरा tracking history और destination operator का notice देखें।
- Consignment number और booking receipt संभालें।
- Customs declaration में लिखे contents और value की copy रखें।
- Receiver से destination-country postal/customs notice जाँचने को कहें।
- यदि documents माँगे गए हों, तो केवल संबंधित authority के official channel से जवाब दें।
Customs duty, prohibited/restricted goods और return decision destination country के नियमों पर निर्भर करते हैं। India Post अकेले foreign customs का निर्णय नहीं बदल सकता। Sender संबंधित booking office/India Post grievance channel में enquiry दर्ज कर सकता है।
