Cheque facility हर account में समान नहीं होती
Post Office Savings Account में cheque facility की उपलब्धता account type, operating instructions और मौजूदा Department of Posts rules पर निर्भर कर सकती है। आवेदन करने से पहले अपने account की eligibility संबंधित Post Office से confirm करें।
Branch visit checklist
- Original passbook और account number
- Account holder की पहचान और registered mobile details
- Cheque book request form, यदि branch माँगे
- Joint account हो तो operating mandate/signature requirements की पुष्टि
Cheque book issue होने पर नाम, account details और पत्ते की spelling जाँचें। Cheque leaf पर signature सुरक्षित रखें और खाली signed cheque किसी को न दें। शुल्क या उपलब्धता के बारे में पुरानी जानकारी के बजाय branch से current confirmation लें।
