इस लेख का फोकस: missing parcel enquiry के लिए records checklist

India Post guide

If a parcel has not arrived as expected, first check the official tracking record and gather the booking details. A missing scan or delay alone does not establish the final delivery outcome.

Collect these records

  • Consignment number and booking receipt
  • Booking date and originating post office
  • Recipient’s complete address and PIN code
  • Tracking events with dates
  • A brief timeline of any contact already made

Raise an enquiry

Contact the booking or destination post office, or use India Post’s official grievance channel. Keep the enquiry reference and follow-up dates.

Stay alert

Do not respond to unsolicited messages asking for OTPs, passwords or unofficial fees to release a parcel.
